Dan Schwartz

Dan Schwartz lives in Bellevue with his wife, Megan, a family nurse practitioner who sees patients in Dorchester County.¹ A September profile described the couple as parents of three young children.² Originally from New York, he grew up visiting Washington and went on to study political science at George Washington University.³

Schwartz was a college student during the 2008 financial crisis, which he says steered him toward financial regulation.³ His professional work has involved state banking regulators and the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, with a focus on financial fraud and consumer protection.¹ In February, he described roughly 15 years of experience working with government regulation.³
