The fine print
Toss ups come first. A race is highlighted if Cook rates it a toss up or the model gives neither side a 55% chance of winning. Everything else follows in state and district order. The highlights follow the latest forecast, rather than the amount raised.
Full quarters combine consecutive FEC filings, including reports before primaries. Partial quarters show only the available dates. A missing report means missing data, not zero dollars. Reports spanning quarters cannot be split from their summary totals; overlapping periods are shown only in the original filings. Q4 figures, where available, cover only the reported portion of the quarter.
These are principal campaign committee accounts. Outside spending, leadership PACs, and separate joint fundraising accounts are excluded. Transfers received by the campaign are already counted in total receipts. Earlier activity can include a different office or district before the current candidacy. Historical committees remain separate.
Candidates are drawn from the public election tables used for the forecast, including candidates from the same party and other parties. Their identities and principal committees are matched to the FEC registry. 8 Senate candidates have no verified FEC identity in this snapshot; their rows are marked unavailable. No amount is inferred from a similar name. Candidate lists: Senate and House.
Filings are a snapshot as of October 19, 2026. Later filings and amendments can change the figures.
