Dave Wallace

Dave Wallace studied biology before joining his family's business in 1981.¹ A lifelong Marylander, he attended both Catholic parochial schools and public schools before earning his degree.¹ He and his wife, Barbara, have been married for more than three decades and are parents and grandparents.¹

His working life has involved more than 40 years of building and operating businesses.¹ His account of those years includes navigating fires, floods and economic downturns while managing the demands of running a small company.¹ Wallace presents experience meeting payroll and serving customers as the professional foundation of his campaign.¹

His work has also included advocacy through Restore America's Mission and the FAIR Energy Foundation.¹ He has participated in international forums involving energy security, property rights, free markets and the rule of law, with business and government participants from North America, Europe and the Middle East.¹

Wallace supports greater domestic energy production, including natural gas in Maryland, and proposes allowing younger workers to invest Social Security contributions in retirement accounts.² He also wants to restore a monetary link to gold, arguing that it would constrain the Federal Reserve and protect purchasing power.² His other priorities include support for police, drug courts and counseling services.² He faces Democrat Johnny Olszewski.³
