Dennis Hannon

Dennis Hannon grew up working in his father's construction business.¹ His career also includes work as a technology professional.² His campaign says becoming a father and advocating for parental involvement in children's medical decisions helped motivate his run for Congress.¹

He formally launched his campaign in April 2026 and now challenges Democratic incumbent Tim Kennedy.³² He advanced without a contested Republican primary and also appears on the Conservative line.² His public safety agenda includes stronger cooperation between local and federal agencies, immigration enforcement focused on serious security threats, and disrupting fentanyl trafficking networks.¹

His cost agenda calls for tax rebates for working families and lower prescription prices.¹ His written action plan proposes ending pharmacy benefit managers' rebate incentives and spread pricing, where they charge an insurer more than they reimburse a pharmacy.⁴ He also backs faster energy permitting and temporary federal fuel tax suspensions during major supply disruptions or national emergencies.⁴

Hannon proposes federal tax relief for qualifying homeschooling expenses and allowing parents of children with intellectual or developmental disabilities to be paid as caregivers.⁴ He supports stronger online privacy for minors, age verification for adult websites and restrictions on AI content involving children.¹⁴ He opposes gender affirming medical care for minors.²
