Biography
Edwin Feller grew up on a Whatcom County dairy farm, where he says his parents taught him to value work, faith, country and neighbors. He graduated from Lynden Christian High School and attended Washington State University, before building a working life in heating, ventilation and air conditioning.1
His submitted voter statement describes sixty years in that trade and work serving sensitive State Department facilities in sixty countries. His community background also includes the Firs Bible and Missionary Conference.1
Feller says he has never held public office. He emphasizes fiscal restraint and accountable public safety, linking affordability problems to high taxes and the size of government. His published positions include stronger law enforcement, secure borders, fair elections, balanced budgets and Title IX protections for women and girls.1
He also stresses individual liberty, national sovereignty and the rule of law.1 The Republican is competing with Democratic incumbent Rick Larsen, whose experience includes Snohomish County government and congressional transportation policy.23 Larsen's current campaign emphasizes housing and energy costs, tariff repeal and congressional oversight, issues he discussed in an October 2026 local newspaper interview.4
