Grand jury testimony and campaign claims
About both candidates: Brian Fitzpatrick and Bob Harvie
Fitzpatrick's campaign and a supporting PAC described Harvie as an FBI investigation subject after his 2022 grand jury testimony; Harvie and his lawyers said he was a witness and denied being under investigation.8 That report stated no charges had been filed in connection with the investigation.8
Harvie and his campaign sued Defending America PAC and Chris Pack in August; Fitzpatrick and his campaign are not defendants.910 The PAC sought dismissal, arguing the statements were protected political rhetoric, according to October 19 reporting.8 No later ruling was verified here; the public docket mirror retrieved for this review ends September 21.9
