Chris Stigall

Born in Richmond, Chris Stigall spent childhood weekends with his grandparents there and learned fishing, hunting and driving on family farmland outside Henrietta.¹ He met his wife, Christine, while they were students at Northwest Missouri State University, and they married shortly after graduation.¹ They have three children and live in Holt.¹

Stigall earned a bachelor's degree in broadcasting with a journalism minor.² His early career included an internship on Late Show with David Letterman, followed by jobs as a producer, news anchor and disc jockey.² His morning radio show began in Kansas City in 2006; he moved to Philadelphia in 2011 and launched nationwide syndication in 2025.²

Before returning to Kansas City radio, he worked in Congressman Sam Graves' office as a field representative and deputy communications director.¹ Christine previously taught middle school in the Park Hill district.¹ The couple have since advocated school choice through the Herzog Foundation, which promotes Christian education, and Stigall has worked as a content creator for the organization.²

Stigall is the Republican nominee.³ He has emphasized supporting President Donald Trump and defended the president's executive actions as a response to congressional inaction.⁴ He has also said he would seek an Agriculture Committee seat and consult Graves on farming issues.⁴ His November opponents are Democrat Josh Smead and Libertarian Andy Maidment.³
