Biography
Deborah Adeimy is a West Palm Beach native whose family has been in the area for five generations, and the mother of three sons now in college.1 Her father and grandfather ran a construction company; she describes the family name as still stamped on buildings around the community.2
Her own career has been in financial advice, with experience at JPMorgan, Merrill Lynch, Morgan Stanley and Citi Global Markets.1 Her campaign lists executive business study at Florida Atlantic University and work advising families and businesses on financial decisions.1 Away from that work, she describes herself as a beachgoer, boater and fishing enthusiast.1 Her campaign also lists ties to Catholic Charities, the Urban League, local business chambers and the Norton Museum of Art.1
Adeimy is making her third congressional bid and seeking her first elected office against Democratic Representative Lois Frankel in the redrawn 23rd District.2 The district includes much of the area Frankel previously represented, from Riviera Beach toward Delray Beach.2
Her platform calls for limiting federal spending and taxes, enforcing immigration laws and protecting homeownership.1 She also emphasizes water quality, including Lake Okeechobee, nearby canals and coastal waterways, and supports working with drug manufacturers and insurers on health care affordability.1
