Energy advertisement fact check

Gulf Coast News rated Schwartzel's July 2026 energy advertisement misleading overall, while rating its claim about energy independence in 2019 mostly true and noting that advances in fracking also contributed.6 The station rated the claim that Biden's Green New Deal reversed that independence mostly false because the proposal never passed, and rated the advertisement's claim linking environmental grants to terrorist funding false.6
