Record and controversies
Communications complaint dismissed
The bipartisan House Communications Standards Commission dismissed a complaint about James’ official YouTube advertisements in July 2026, finding no reasonable justification for the complaint and closing the matter.8 His office said the vendor corrected geographic targeting and did not bill for advertisements shown outside the district.8 The complaint was dismissed, not left unresolved.8
