Record and controversies

Correction to New York voting claim

A July 2026 report claimed New York records showed Beltran had voted there in 2025, which he denied.6 The outlet subsequently updated its story: a certified city election record printed July 20 showed no voting history for him and attributed the ballot to a different voter.6 His old registration was purged effective July 15, 2026.6 Registration in multiple states alone did not establish an election law violation.6
