Biography

Mitchell Jacob, a father of five boys, says he used AI to create printed summer learning packets for his younger children, covering Oklahoma history, tribes and nature.1 Born in Tulsa, he is one of nine children himself, an avid swimmer and a reader whose favorite series is Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time.2

His jobs included making sandwiches, working movie theater concessions and serving as a busboy, followed by work in mortgages, banking and stockbroking.2 He enlisted in the Army in 2017, served about five and a half years as a cryptologic linguist and reached sergeant.2 He earned an associate degree in Arabic studies at the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California.2 That service included deployment to Syria in January 2020.2

Jacob graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2025 and now works as a public defender.2 He prioritizes rehabilitation over punishment and opposes prisons run for profit.2 His education platform includes funding public schools and providing free school meals.2

Jacob calls for cutting spending, ending increases in the debt limit and eliminating federal debt.2 He also supports state and federal authority to regulate AI data centers, emphasizing their demands on water, land and electricity.1 He faces Republican Tom Cole and independent Rocco Bonacci for Oklahoma's Fourth District seat.3
