Biography
Rick Crosson is a father of three and grandfather of eight whose career has moved from Army aviation to trucking and local education.1 He joined the Army in 1980, flying surveillance missions along the Iron Curtain and later serving as a military liaison in Mexico.1 His military career included the rank of lieutenant colonel.1
After leaving the military, Crosson spent nearly twenty years in transportation and logistics, including work at Schneider National in Green Bay and leadership of a Wisconsin trucking company.1 His local service has included the Green Bay Area Board of Education, the Greater Green Bay YMCA Board and the Brown County Library Board.1
Crosson's health agenda calls for guaranteed access to care, clearer pricing, lower prescription costs and fewer administrative barriers to treatment.2 He supports free public education through trade school or college, reproductive rights and stronger support for veterans' housing, benefits and mental health.2
He also advocates strict state and federal rules for data centers, payments protecting taxpayers from project costs and a decisive role for local communities.2 His government reform proposals include Supreme Court expansion, term limits for justices and an enforceable ethics code.2 Crosson is the Democrat challenging Republican Representative Tony Wied in Wisconsin's 8th District.34
