Record and controversies
Downtown redevelopment referendum
Singer backed downtown redevelopment near Boca Raton's Brightline station, arguing in 2025 that it could bring housing and activity comparable to the city's Mizner Park development; opponents raised concerns about density, traffic and the use of public land.7 In March 2026, voters overwhelmingly rejected the One Boca proposal, whose final lease component covered 7.8 acres for 99 years.8
