Sean Kirrane

Sean Kirrane and his wife have raised two children in New Jersey, and he makes his home in River Vale.¹² His career has moved among banking, insurance, healthcare management and technology.³¹ He earned a Bachelor of Science in finance at Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia in 2000.³

Earlier jobs included accounting and treasury positions at Hudson United Bancorp, followed by finance work at New York Mortgage Trust.³ At the mortgage company, his responsibilities included budgeting, borrowing and managing company cash.³ He subsequently led global treasury functions at Endurance Specialty Holdings, an insurance company.³

Federal corporate filings document his service as chief executive of First Physicians Capital Group.⁴ His campaign biography also lists building Arcadia Health Partners and cofounding Cortex-X, an artificial intelligence governance platform.¹ He describes his political approach as socially moderate and fiscally disciplined.¹

Kirrane proposes baseline health insurance for American citizens, patient cost caps tied to income, and mental health and preventive coverage.⁵ He also wants the full state and local tax deduction restored and taxes on retirement income eliminated.⁵ His housing agenda includes temporary federal mortgage interest relief and taxes on speculative and foreign property purchases.⁵ He faces Democratic incumbent Josh Gottheimer and independent Adam Rueda in the Fifth District.²
